These are my must have apps for Snow Leopard as of today.

- Quicksilver from http://blacktree.com
I just throw the dock away! - Visor from http://blacktree.com. http://visor.binaryage.com/

It will update Digg’s top stories. You can filter which categories to show up on this app. - MenuCalendarClock from http://www.objectpark.net/
This menubar app will give you a monthly calendar with just a click. It will also show your todos and events! - MenuMeter from http://www.ragingmenace.com/
I only activate the network profile, so I will know if the conenction is on or off. - Flip4Mac from http://flip4mac.com & Perian from http://perian.org/
This will give you the capabilities to watch Windows Media video or others with your Quicktime - Geektools from http://projects.tynsoe.org/en/geektool/

It’s a free, full feature and an alternative to WinZip™, WinRar™, StuffIt™ - OpenTerminal from http://homepage.mac.com/thomasw/OpenTerminal/
Great shortcut to your Terminal.app from the Finder. It’ll give you full path of what’s in the Finder.app - Onyx from http://www.titanium.free.fr
Speed up your system with this utility which can delete any unwanted files, logs, fixing corrupted files.

The current version of Visor can be found here: http://visor.binaryage.com/
Thanks Séraphine! I just corrected the address. But in fact, my version is the latest, and still experiencing a bit instability. But it’s a great app, so I just keep using ‘em
But Quicksilver is not working as it should on Snow Leopard. I have no preferences… I just threw it away along with the dock… and started using Google QSB, until it gets fixed.
Hi Mau,
Yes, Quicksilver using this method (http://www.appledoes.com/quicksilver-and-snow-leopard-finally-work-hand-in-hand.html) will work fine but no preference pane. I don’t access the preference that often, but I do use the trigger and catalog often enough. QSB has a good future, but for now, can’t be compared to QS. QS is so much powerful, if you explore how to do everything with keystrokes.
Sandy,
Agreed. I am just waiting to hear when it gets fixed and I will definitely go back to it. QSB is serving well so far… not fancy scripting or other QS triggers are available, but for an app launcher, it is working just fine.
And what do you know… it seems to be that QuickSilver is now compatible with Snow Leopard. Go get some at blacktree.com
